Helping you become Fire Adapted

The Eastern Regional Firewise Coalition was formed in November of 2023, and is an all-volunteer organization (no paid staff, no dues) which works with, but is not related to, the regional Fire Safe Councils in Nevada, and California. We exist to support the representatives and residents of current (and future) Firewise Communities (FWCs) on the Eastern Slope of the Sierras from Markleville in the south to Sierraville in the North.  Our goal is to assist with the dissemination of information, and to facilitate communication about the FireSafe and Firewise program.  We will keep relevant contact directories of agencies, programs, and web sites up to date, organize events, and attempt to alert our members of relevant events across our broad geographic community.
