April 7 ERFC Meeting Featuring IBHS Wildfire Expert

We’re excited to announce that Steve Hawks from the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) will be our featured speaker at this month’s meeting. Steve will share science‑based, actionable guidance on how to better protect our homes and neighborhoods from wildfire.
The meeting begins at 5:30 pm on April 7th.
Featured Speaker: Steve Hawks
Senior Director for Wildfire, IBHS
Steve Hawks leads wildfire policy, partnerships, code development, post‑fire analysis, and the implementation of the Wildfire Prepared Home and Wildfire Prepared Neighborhood programs at IBHS.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in fire suppression and prevention, including his long career with CAL FIRE, where he retired in 2022 as Assistant Deputy Director of the Office of the State Fire Marshal’s Community Wildfire Preparedness and Mitigation Division.
