Standing Dead...Overstocked. Overgrown. Overdue. join us for a Documentary Film Premier followed by a panel discussion with wildfire experts.

The film explores how dense forests and heavy fuel loads drive extreme wildfire behavior, and what that means for western Nevada County and the Sierra Nevada.  After the screening, experts will discuss what our community can do now to reduce wildfire risk and make our forests less flammable.

From 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 28th in the Don Baggett Theater at Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley.

Admission is free with advance RSVP.  For admission at the door, there’s a small suggested donation (space permitting).

The panel will be moderated by Pascale Fosshoeller, editor of YubaNet and this event is presented by the Wildfire-Ready Coalition of Nevada County.  The documentary is by Riparian Studios, LLC.
